8/20: Wyoming

Last night we stayed at our first AirBnB location: a Sheepherder's Wagon!!

This also means we have been in 12 states! Wahoo!!

We finished up Yellowstone today by sitting by a lake for a little while writing post cards and then seeing Old Faithful erupt. :) While we waited on the geyser, we had a wonderful conversation with a woman who was recently retired and going on her 'freedom' trip!

After Old Faithful we drove to Grand Teton National Park. Sadly due to the haze we didn't get to see much of the view and so mostly just drove through. Here's the one view we could semi-see. 

Our day ended with a wonderful dinner at a family-owned restaurant, MacPhail's Burgers, in Jackson Hole. We were served by the owner himself. The food was delicious, but the personal connection really made the experience stand out! We hope to go back one day :)
